ROLLOVER WINNER Hospice Lottery Promoter, Keith Witham, had the pleasant task of presenting a cheque to Mrs Wilson of Sutton for £5,600 being the "rollover" prize which was won in the draw held on Friday 27th February 2009. The previous rollover winner was Mrs Webb of Mitcham who also won an identical £5,600 in August 2008.
As well as a first prize of £1,000 which is guaranteed to be won each week, the lottery also has a “rollover” prize, which if not won, “rolls over” to the next week and can accumulate up to a maximum of £10,000 at which point it is then guaranteed to be won by won lucky member.
St Raphael’s Hospice relies on charitable fundraising and depends upon the generosity of the local community to continue providing the high level of care needed. It costs nearly £70,000 a week to keep the Hospice running – your participation in the Lottery will help to meet these costs. Without such fundraising initiatives we could not survive, let alone plan for the future.
