In-patient Care

All patients admitted to our 14-bedded unit have their own room with bathroom en suite, a private patio and a pleasant outlook over the gardens surrounding the Hospice. With the help of a grant from the Department of Health we have recently completed the refurbishment of our en suite bathrooms, with improved facilities to help our patients retain their independence and improved access so that our staff can easily provide assistance whilst retaining our patients' dignity. Family and friends, including children may visit at any time, and there are facilities for relatives and friends to stay overnight if necessary. Pets are also welcome as visitors.
The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable and peaceful with excellent medical and nursing care. Staff have plenty of time to spend with patients and relatives, who are encouraged to discuss any worries or difficulties they may have.
