Feedback from Relatives
St Raphael’s Hospice cares for 900 patients and families each year. Each individual is unique. Each family has its own special memories and stories. Here are just a few of the letters we have received. We thank each of them for allowing us to print their words and photographs.

Jennie with her mum, Joan.Joan Bartlett"To All the wonderful staff. I am sure many people write and thank you, but it is so important to remind you all that the work you do is amazing. During my dear mum Joan Bartlett’s short stay with you at the end of her life we were all treated with such care. Mum’s last words to me were “I’m very lucky” and that is because she was calm and secure and cossetted in St Raphael’s. Every person we came into contact with made us feel special and important to them. To be able to pass from this life with such dignity is wonderful.
